Bruno MOTM, makes sense. Although Selz must be close, would have been about 5-0 if he hasn't made some brilliant saves.

We've been unlucky with some injuries, but weirdly thanks to Hall and Schar getting hammy and concussion respectively, our best CB's are now firmly established. Conceding 3 vs Liverpool was Schar & Burn.

 

How much you offering for Woltemade to score more than Isak this season.

 

Oh, he absolutely will, that's the way we play - we serve the centre forward. Look at Liverpool's numbers - they all come from Salah. Isak rotating, in a different system, with a right winger who's always going to shoot first? Not a chance he gets double figures.

Everton may be what Forest were last year, not sure about Villa yet.

The best players we have are Tonali Woltemade Bruno Botman and my new favourite Thiaw.

Elange is raw and not convincing me he is a 55m player.

Joelinton is strong but limited.

Burn is dependable but makes silly fouls.

 

Botman and Thiaw are the best cb partnership we've ever had. Two top players.. Makes a huge difference

The wingers all of a sudden look like they need replacing... Newcastle should move heaven and earth for Semenyo.

 

Livramento is exceptional, Hall could reach the same level. With a fully fit squad we're not far off, we just need a new DoF/scouting influence so we can be getting players like Igor Thiago instead of Wissa, or Ndiaye instead of Elanga, and so on. But I think we may have turned a corner now, we look very, very solid even with Burn and Trippier at full back so will only get better from here. Ramsey rotating with Joelinton is exciting.

 

Have Newcastle got any money available for January?
