plenty of twists and turns yet but I have to say that Arsenal a far more fluid right now than we are. Thankfully we have a lot of time to improve

Simeone given one match ban for "unsporting conduct" during Liverpool match. He misses tonight's game against Frankfurt.

 

So lfc have now played and beaten team in 2nd and 3rd and lost to team in 4th away from home who are unbeaten in 18.

Not bad start to season for a team in transition.

 

I was thinking just the same thing as the final whistle blew in the Bournemouth v Fulham game.

 

Form is everything. Arsenal thought they’d win the league after beating Utd away

 

Throw in Newcastle away and the derby and it's a good points return.

 

Well, we've now played 4 of the top 6, won 2 and lost 2 (both the away games).

 

Disappointing but more about how we are playing than the result. International break can’t come soon enough!

I know! I went out to do the garden, came back in 40 minutes later - and Everton were scoring a winner. Been a ****e fortnight, but as quickly as our luck has run out, so it can turn again. Let's smash the Clog-Sparkers Sun 19th.

 

Fact is Palace will fall away, they were on a great run but they don't have the squad to maintain any serious top4 hopes. Reckon they could get EL or go for another cup.

The same with Bournemouth.

The last international break really screwed us up, so our lot now have two weeks to stew on the bollocks they've been serving up. Hopefully this break can motivate them to get their act together, maybe even find a bit of form with the national teams.
