How was Wissa a risk? Wissa was the one with 3 years of PL history and experience. He was the one with goals in the PL. He had minimal injury absence in his time in the PL. He’s injured now but nothing previous suggested this would occur. If Wissa “was going to be a risk” then that would apply to every footballer.
He’s a good player. Just in a very **** team at manu. Napoli have a 38m clause. Im not saying Wissa is a bad player he isn’t. He’s a good player but all things considered at 55 and at the age of 29 and Afcon. It was a strange move. Still could work out.
The best thing about Wissa is that we've been able to see Woltemade. If Wissa was fit then we'd have seen Woltemade against Bradford and ten minutes here and there. Also that role now goes to Osula and he looks a much better prospect then he did last season. Best £55m spent since Tonali
If we had bought Hojlund instead of Wissa fans would have rightly gone berserk, the guys been a complete disaster in the Prem and Wissa was scoring for fun. Wissa was a no brainer, the injury was just unfortunate.
Woltemade has been the highlight so far this season, guys seriously good. Tonali as usual is probably our all round best player. We need to seriously look at how we manage pre-season because we come back looking terrible.
The clubs already in the top 6 are likely to win games too. Top 6 maybe, but top 4? Not happening... We came 5th last year remember.
I think a realistic target this season is 6th. Anything better will be a bonus. We have a better squad now but not a big one. Champions League is going to impact on things.
Yeah agree... 6th looks difficult tbh with Palace, Bournemouth looking very good but it's still possible Newcastle could have a good October to keep our hopes alive.
We have to win today mind. It’s an important game because Forrest are hurting. If we can get an early goal I think they will implode.
