Not many will take points at Old Trafford We will beat them at home Thanks again RTB enjoy your Saturday night everyone
First 30 minutes cost us, far too open and got punished. Played better with 5 at the back. I'm worried about Hume, he's been targeted every game and keeps giving it away. Wouldn't be surprised to see Geertruida or Mukiele get a run at RB. We still missed some big chances though, especially Talbi's. Onwards and upwards
I can live with the ref missing it, it was a small touch but where on earth were VAR on that? Literally what it's for isn't it?
Flag went up against Adingra straight after Traore had swung and missed didn't it? So wouldn't have counted anyway(?)
Positive... Bris changed formation fairly quickly, like most of the fan bases, 5 at the back had to be a consideration. We drew the 2nd half and made a few chances This season, with lots of new players, Bris will habe learnt more about players and team
Last 2 games have been away from home, we've got 3 points out of 6 from them as a newly promoted club. I'm not gonna start whinging.
Lot better 2nd half, and created a couple of golden chances, plus the one Ballard missed towards the end of the second half. So cudda got something out of the game, but in fairness we never looked like scoring. Hope we beat Wolves to keep our momentum. Bart
I think if that Ballard header goes in from the corner we get something. Their arses would’ve dropped out. Small margins but hey ho.
Well. He didn’t, he just had the wrong players imo there. If Adingra offered support, it could’ve been a much different game. Still not sold on him yet, but he’s very young. If Talbi or Le Gee start left wing Amad doesn’t get the run of the pitch. It’s also easy to see after the fact! Which, luckily RLB is very good at
Yes he is, I think. We will see. I dont think he had the right formation, or the right players on the pitch to start with, and said so soon as I saw the team. In all honesty we handed the game too them, and almost got away with it , but hopefully this result wont stop our momentum . OaU
The fact there are comments about small margins making the difference show how we are competing. We never looked to be hanging on, just weren't clinical enough
Man U fans on talkSPORT going like they've beat Real Madrid today, shows how the mighty have fallen. As for us, today is a bit like failing you're driving test, you learn more from that than 10 lessons. Man U were the first of the big lads, use today to learn and from it. No shame in walking away from Old Trafford on the loosing side... as long as we learn.
In the end think 2-0 flattered them. Bit more clinical finishing and couple decisions going the right way and we probably earn a point from that or at least have their arses twitching!
also, we've been away from the Premier League for a long time, alot has changed..... favouritism from officials for Manchester United, however, hasn't.
