Konate seems to have reverted to his early years with us. Fine one minute, dogshit the next.

Salah was just literally assaulted and dragged by the neck and waved off by hooper.

 

There just doesn’t seem anything about us at the moment. No real purpose and no real style of play.

What's killing us.

Two things.

1. Really negative passing with absolutely zero intent to go forward. Leading to it going back and back until the cbs who are prime suspects are under pressure.

2. Too many touches. Gakpo wants to hold it and hold it. So does salah. Zero one touch going on. At least 3 before a pass and everyone is closed down by a cheslea team seeming prepared to work much harder thst we do.

 

Not sure what position Mac Allister is playing. He’s almost back with the defence and when we get the ball he’s doing very little to move into space to be given the ball, he’s just standing in the same position

 

Midfiedl takes itself out and its 2 forwards for the two cbs and vvd decides to go with the run not the block.

Left it wide open to hit.

 

Operative word is standing.

Konate actually.moved up opened for a pass and looked at everyone stood. Not one moved 2 yards to even be a half option.
