I’d give Ballard our MOTM even though he didn’t start.

Overall it’s Amad. He’s been head and shoulders above everyone else.

Gutted. But played some nice stuff at times. Created enough to have got something, and an even field ref wise may have made a difference

Think we got the shape wrong from the off, a lot better when we went to 5 at the back but hindsight sees 20/20. No shame in losing to these, goals were soft and we missed a couple of good chance take them and who knows, won’t lose any sleep over it, nice break for the lads and onto wolves

Disappointing result. On another day with a different ref we'd have got something there.

Can't be missing sitters in the first 5 at Old Trafford.

No big deal though. On to the next.

Sounds like we weren't far off at all, more favourable ref and better setup from the start might have done it.

Free hit really. Lets learn and improve hopefully. If we can beat Wolves (which I think will be a tough game) will be very happy still.

Well bad day at the office, much better when we went to a back 5.

Starting with Traore and Adingra was a mistake, not enough end product from either (Traore did improve however) and hugely lacking from both when it came to defending. RLB will have taken note of that.

    Bring on Wolves.

It's hard enough getting points at OT against man u but when they have the officials and var against them then there's only gonna be one team winning it

We played well. First half shape knacked us. We learn and go again.

think the shape we started with is fine if the right tools are available

adingra and masuaku on a side doesnt look solid on paper or in reality

got to stick and back the wingers but i think getting mukiele at right back and reinildo back at left back could be key, the wingers are airy fairy and not the finished article, need marauding full back support

Just a defeat amongst defeats we knew we'd have. We didn't panic or collapse, so will have good experience from that. Always going to be difficult when Old Trafford ref decisions are to be contended with
