you see cracker has answered his own question you wont get 6 players that brendan wants for £2-£3 million......we are a premiership team now....well done and thank you for making my point...
I don't think there's much in the way of agents fees Breezy, as the Premier League have published those, and we are one of the lowest at approx £250,000, so we are buying wisely and not wasting, take note Dai! In Jenkins we trust................... please log in to view this image
Your assuming Buck will get his 4 to 6 players , you've been assuming that fact a lot lately . I find it a bit curious that you've gone straight to the 6 player figure , leaving the 4 player figure behind ..... ... Cheers 99 !!
Read an article on clubcall dated Dec 15 about Goosens where it says Rodgers isn't expecting a busy transfer window ....... What is the date today by the way ?
Dragon, Breezy stated "from the close last season, to the window shutting in the fall". That clearly doesn't include Borini or Sinclair. I think I'm going to call you 'Mr Doesn't-read-posts-properly'......and my figures come from the club's official website. Did we pay £900,000 for Moreira? Good God.
well the days of £50k-£100K are gone except for players like this Irish guy who will be for the future, you wont spend big on players who wont be ready to step into the premiership right away, those players are in the million quid bracket today......some need to get in the real world and premiership mode,.....Even if we get a player on loan we still have to pay the club a huge fee and his wages on top. Do you know when we got gomez on loan we paid his club £200k for the privilage and that was a few seasons ago....
The figures on your site are in Euros, Crackerjack, so they would fit exactly to mine from the Club website. (I didn't include Situ - never even seen him yet!!) What have you got to say now, Dragon
SS99, since you know all things re:Swansea City, any idea what the club paid for Wayne Routledge as the fee was 'undisclosed'??
Listen you tart, the Euro is on parity, and at the time of these signings, was 1.14, not a significant issue worth debating, in sterling it equates to £10.65 Million..................... please log in to view this image
Well Betinfo clearly got the figure of £3.3m, for Routledge from somewhere, why did Cardiff offer a fee of around £3m in order to sign Routledge on a permanent deal? By the way I'm not saying we paid that, but he was contracted to Newcastle until the end of 2013, and that would mean we would have had to have paid a reasonable sum for his services as an experienced Premiership player, all be it at numerous clubs!.............. please log in to view this image
Why did we pay £900,000 for a third-string keeper who doesn't even get on the bench? Why not keep Cornell? Moreira came first before the other two if my memory is correct, but it now seems a bit of a waste.
Be careful what you say, neveroffsideref. Our esteemed moderator, DPJ, has made a new unwritten rule which states that any attempt to resolve inconsistencies will be met with ridicule and scorn. Repeat with me: I must not attempt to resolve inconsistencies. I must not attempt to resolve inconsistencies. I must not attempt to resolve inconsistencies.
Regardless though , we still retain are spot as the 13th place team in spending in the parameters given . 7 teams spent less than us .
