a while back I put a link up for a charity walk i was doing...1 million steps for Diabetes UK. ended up doing over 1,059,000 steps...about 480 mile over the 13 weeks and raised £654 so thanks to all of you that donated
I'm not sure how relevant they were anymore tbh. Very expensive outfit and most of the promotion of Cornish attractions and beaches etc nowadays is done on Instagram and Tik Tok by small business and visitors. That said, visitor numbers are down in Cornwall and have been for 2-3 years. That's a combination of over inflated accommodation costs (they got greedy during Covid and whacked up the prices) rising costs in general (food, utilities etc) less money in people's pockets and the astronomical price of parking. I think a lot of families are looking at it and thinking, hang on for £1500 for a week in a cottage in cornwall, we can take the kids to an all inclusive hotel on a package deal in Spain, keep them fed and entertained and we've got guaranteed sunshine.
How much? £1500 to stay in a cottage for a week? Especially living in a KKK hotspot. That’s ridiculous. Is there any nightlife in Cornwall? Like proper clubs where I could go and have a good night or is it all just village pubs?
Yeah mate it’s nuts. Worth it if you’re a white suprematist I suppose. Yeah there are clubs and nights. Some great live music in cornwall too. There aren’t the big clubs like you get in the cities, but definitely a good vibe down here.
