I suspect that EVERY ONE of my guesses was wrong this week. ( and a couple I thought were correct, weren't!) JOE Pub quiz 470I got 14 of 25 right
The Thursday quiz likes to believe there is a certain type of news story that regular readers will spot on the Guardian website, and immediately think “that is a shoo-in for the Thursday quiz” and commit every last detail to memory. This week’s quiz features quite a few stories like that, as well as the debut of a brand new exciting regular celebrity general knowledge round. As ever, there are no prizes, but we love to hear how you got on in the comments. Allons-y! The Thursday news quiz, No 217 https://www.theguardian.com/lifeand...uiz-general-knowledge-topical-news-trivia-217 5... got the first three guesses wrong. Knew the Kidman one and one other. Calling 10 a good score. Enjoy
10/15 Good or lucky not sure. A lot of the questions I had read the story so had a good idea of the answer. There were a couple of educated guesses and a pure fluke. Overall, I'm happy with that
You got...10/15 Happy with that - even though I told myself what would be an actor name, but still selected a different one. Cheers Blond
@gelders pie You may wish to look at your tecent post as it could be construed as a clue. Wouldn't want people to complain that they had been misled in any way Oh no Definitely not
Oops - never thought ( obviously getting 10 used up all of today’s allocation of clever brain cells) It’s been edited - ( presume thanks to Gordon )
They come at you fast those pesky Guardian quizzes... but it's the hope we cannot stand. One day my friends, one day. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2...inners-harry-kane-football-golf-rugby-cricket It's another toughie... 7 Calling 10 a good score. Enjoy
A surprising 9. I say surprising as I seemed to get a lot wrong, was surprised when it came up as 9....was expecting 6, maybe 7. Cheers @Blond Bombshell.
6/15 have to take it , I knew only one and the other five were pure guess. can’t even claim educated guess Cheers Blond
