Just seen the Brighton / Chelsea non penalty… absolutely fine to kick someone in the head in the box.

    Thank **** Brighton won.

Clearest penalty that you will ever see.

Just seen the mackem highlights. Free kick leading to goal should have been for Forest.

There wasn’t much in it either way IMO… not a free kick to anyone (Forest / Sunlun one)

Yeah for simulation. And to be fair, there wasn't any obvious contact, even in slow mo replays. Ref could have just let play go on as the ball was already away. But equally, I don't mind seeing yellow cards for this cheating simulation ****. It needs stamping out of the game. Just means that Sunderland got lucky this time around as the free kick led to a goal. But simulation is simulation. Forest were awful mind.

There was a time the big clubs would win games regularly via simulation leading to penalties, clear offsides, and no contact red cards. In a time when everyone moans about VAR, it's easy to forget why it came in.

It's just a bit ott and no matter what happens the media will deliberately pick apart every decision and deliberately create controversy even if it doesn't exist.

I've reached the conclusion that fans see what they want to see anyway and they're not reasonable.

Agree. Because of the amount of cheating now (simulation, shirt pulling, blocking off, rolling around trying to get players carded, etc.) fans now literally look for things to shout at the ref about.

I recently watched a game on TV with a couple of mates who each supported opposing teams and I was the neutral. Very interesting to observe the crap they were both screaming about, each adamant there were fouls against their own team and each saying the officials were cheating against them. In my view, most of those incidents there was nothing going at all.
And I'm sure I do the exact same thing as them when Newcastle play.

We've moved into an situation where literally any contract or foul and people are saying that's a yellow card too.

It boils my piss... Sometimes it's just a foul and the rewards a free kick.

I still watch Football, but it's not particularly enjoyable anymore imo.. It's just annoying most of the time.

I love football. And it’s natural to be biased towards your own team.

Look at Slot yesterday though. Complaining because they lost.

Slots been quite lucky since he arrived. He’s not had to properly manage a club from the depths like Howe has.

I am super surprised if Manu don’t come knocking soon.

So the EPl are now looking at scrapping PSR for a new system...
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cvg4lxdlmgjo

Under a month since City stopped going after the EPL regarding the APT rules...
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footbal... accepted the rules, new rules were "unlawful".

Less than a year since City started proceedings...
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68253004

And proved they were not lawful...
https://www.skysports.com/football/...ve claimed a,rules are void and unenforceable.

And we are meant to believe this is all just a coincidence?

IF APT & PSR are scrapped could we be sitting atop a mountain of gold?

APT & PSR as they stand are being scrapped.

But the new rules coming in specifically stiplulate that any team that...:

    a) plays in black and white, or
    B) contains 'castle' within their official club name, or
    c) is located north of Sunderland

... can only spend £5.50 on player transfers each season, regardless of sales or revenue.

What rotten luck. Who'd have guessed that.

They've been trying to get in an even worse system called squad cost ratio for quite some time.

This isn't going to make the situation any better, but they'll sell it that way.

85% of a £400m turnover ain’t bad for wages, fees and agents. 70% years turnover if in Europe.

It's still the same in the way it kills competition, but it allows for instant penalties for any club that tries.

The ****house 6 will be allowed to dominate in every way shape and form under any percentage based system.

Despite Masters peddling his usual ****e I'm not even sure if he's going to get a vote through on SCR, because he failed last time and they agreed to stick with the current ones for a while longer.

There's possibly a swing in the votes with Leeds and Sunderland both being more ambitious than the **** that went down last season. My gut instinct is telling me they won't get SCR over the line.

The anchoring thing is somewhat interesting, but I'm not sure if they'll get a vote through on that either.
