    So, why when
n OffTheLine started on politics and I was only replying did you lock me out and not him? Same with Chazz, goes on about others posting things but does so himself with no comeback. Other posters make fun of people dying or being murdered whilst making themselves out to be virtuous souls better than others.

I don't believe I've locked you out of anything, at least not recently and I've no idea what you're referring to.

You locked me out of the offensive jokes thread. Well, I assume it was you. If not apologies. The original posts I was replying to remained. Same happened to another poster. Seems some people are treated differently to others.

Ye, not even sure it's about cheap stuff, just about not paying a middle man to get what we want or need. Before streaming/downloads, you either paid £15 for a cd from hmv or got it for £9 online - the artist and publisher got the same money, just weren't paying a shop to sell it to you. Plus the time saving. Of course there will be a knock on effect of councils losing on business rates and retail staff reduced, but then town centres have to recalibrate.

Having said and argued this, I do believe that the likes of Amazon should be obligated to pay the same levels of tax as small retailers and this is a separate issue.

Freeman, Grattan and Avon catalogues must have affected the high street as did fruit &veg, butchers and fish delivery vans, even ice cream vans and milkmen, you could shop from home before the Internet!

If someone buys clothes then it’s almost always better to ‘feel’ the fabric check the size and enjoy the experience - if they don't like shopping then it’s not the shops fault it’s a personal dislike . If I order from a website something that is based on a picture but is open to ‘variation’ then when it doesn’t fit you have to take it back to a collection point , re order and hope again or cancel the whole episode disappointed . I was reflecting people’s laziness - slightly off the subject here’s an example
Got bus into town 16 year old and his 40 ish year old mum got on the bus just past HRi and got off at Tower - it’s about 400 yds max ffs - they weren’t overweight they were just effin lazy !

Certainly, some people's appetite or lack of for walking in modern Britain is pretty depressing. Don't know how we got to a point where so many people learn to hate or fear it.
