What iPhone is it?

I’ve been on iOS26 on both phone and watch since the Betas in early August. All good.

 

I have a basic 12, which is one of those listed as compatible. Ios26 doesn’t come up as an option when I try to update though.

 

When you hit check for updates, scroll down on the page - it will be there. Updates to new OS entirely is on the bottom of the updates page, unless you scroll you may not see it

 

Why doesn’t it just update automatically though? That’s what’s happened ever since I’ve had this phone.

 

Strangely, it just appeared as an update option on my phone this morning!
