Could you show me a party that doesn't have self interest backers. Every person that backs any party has their own interests to gain from

I can tell you through first hand experience the policy under Labour of a huge increase in university places was a bad one and continues, today, to have rubbish consequences for our country. I dont count immigration as one of them, but sadly the current Labour govt seem to think in lockstep with the last tory one that thought making it more difficult for overseas students to study here was a lever worth using to tackle immigration. Absolutely mind boggling stuff from those we elect.

I agree to a degree but who would not be against green energy when thinking of our kids future apart from the fossil fuel industry who back Farage and Trump and whose disciples parrot their self interested nonsense which will be against their better interests.

I fully appreciate the right have tried to make Milibsnd look daft eating a sandwich and of course social media works that’s why they spend a fortune to manipulate people. However, the energy policy is focused on green energy with investment in nuclear which is ultimately sensible and will go someway to tackling our country’s part in global warming. As a side most sensible Tories backed this but I see the clusterfk of the new Tory leadership want to outdo Farage.

In terms of cost bills are high because of the lunacy of privatising our essential utilities in the 80s including water. We have lined shareholders pockets whilst bills have went through the roof and chronic lack of investment.

we need to listen to the countless scientists about global warming not Farage.

I haven’t a clue what you are wittering on about but my house is all paid for through my hard work whilst I have paid fair tax. Some of the non dom billionaires who are pulling your strings should try paying fair tax and the country would be in a better place.

Did your experts not tell you your house was going to drop 50% straight after Brexit.
Did you not listen to all your experts?

As someone who had no strong views on Brexit I listened to the experts before making my decision. Given the absolute clusterfk of Brexit in ruining the economy and giving us record immigration, given that most who voted for Brexit did so to stop immigration I can see why brexiteers want to rewrite history with whataboutry nonsense. Well done.

Over half the country don't like the change of culture in the community mate. When the idiot Cameron asked "do you want to remain in the EU",he actually got the answer to the question "do you want the vast, overwhelming, far more than predicted by the Blair Govt.,numbers arrriving here, mainly from Eastern Europe, also considering EU expansion plans, to continue".
Since the vote, and before, the Tories have contrived to make an unholy mess of everything, and Labour haven't been able to provide a credible alternative, hence the current support for Reform.....people trying to have another go. In my view,a mistake you and your Marxist comrades on here continue to make is the assumption that everyone who dislikes and fears the way our towns and cities have become overrun by millions of people from different cultures, and the effect it is having on our infrastructure, social and cultural well-being, is a far-right fascist racist spending their time licking Farage's hoop. You seem unable to accept that,to many, social and cultural issues are every bit as important,if not more so, as the debatable economics you often raise in trying to provide support for your views.

What are the rubbish consequences of the huge increases, Fell? I'm interested to learn.

Edit - just off the top of my head, is unbalancing the workforce one of the consequences?

The experts were right and the those that believed the lies of Farage and Johnson were wrong. A fckd economy and record immigration is the Brexit legacy.

I never saw anything that said house prices would drop 50% and given I have property I think I I would have done so sense more rewriting of history bullshit.

Given the clusterfk of Brexit, it would be interesting if there was a further referendum today.

Let’s cut some of the Marxist bullshit but I agree with a lot of what you say. We do need much more robust immigration which we are now starting to see and it’s good to see some Tories backing this governments plans given the mess they made.

However, anyone thinking Farage has the answers is sadly mistaken. He is one of the main reasons we have mass immigration. Is it worth risking our nhs and vital public services on thinking this charlatan could sort it out? He is a protest politician who is happy to snipe from the sidelines and would be an absolute joke around any real power. Any working class person thinking of voting for him really needs to find out more about him and his backers as its turkeys voting for Christmas

Simple question. If you worked high up in CS and you were put on brexit implementation team would you go beyond to make it happen or would you just do enough . IF you gave a Ev to a petrol head he could make it the worst car ever built.

Whataboutry and division is all you offer. :)

As aside have an EV (as well as a petrol) and it’s pretty good. I honestly don’t get the hatred of EVs and as technology improves they are only going to get better

Totally agree about ev but I am on about your argument about Brexit and I am say yes a clusterfk because the people negotiating it wanted it to be. What devision am I on about. It you and your mates that wants to devide the country as to you anything right of the far left is classed as right wing extremist

House market never crashed, in fact, the five years after Brexit were better than the previous five years before the vote. The experts also warned us that we would be in immediate recession just on the back of a leave win. That never happened, neither.

Wasting your time with NR, btw. It’s been pretty much confirmed now that he’s one of them from the mag board who is just using this account to wind up the Sunderland fans.
