Scrappy game so far,probably due to the "squad rotation" too many changes for me .

Need to pick it up second half, lots of huff and puff but nothing much to write home about.

Get Saito on at half-time and Burrell after 5 mins.

I’d take off Hayden, been pretty anonymous so far, Field has been way more in the game. Well it’s there for the taking and will be very disappointing if we don’t take all 3 points.

 

A bit better towards the end, but overall a poor half.

Saito and Burrell please.

 

I’ve seen car crashes with more flair than this.

 

Field and Hayden are too similar.... need quicker movement forward, with Burrell running behind the defence.... Frey decent target man but this ship turns quicker than he does....
Loving the amount of work Kone does.....

 

The highlight so far for me has been the delightful Emily Carney running the line

 

Sounds like another classic QPR v Oxford game. Heartbroken that I can’t watch tonight.

 

We look comfortable. Just need more impetuous in the final third, no real direction or great decision making when we do get forward. I wish they'd realise that they have to play the ball to Vale's feet and not 5 or 10 metres in front of him, he gets into great positions and is a real player, unfortunately with no pace.

 

Agreed. Frey has put himself about a bit but not really created anything other than his shot from distance. Kone has made some nice runs but mainly down the wing. Get them both front and centre, with Vale and Dembele working the wings, and we stand a good chance of peppering their goal in the second half. Got to go for it from the off.
