I've seen people work their entire lives paying into pensions & getting taxed to **** , retire in their 70s have a stroke then forced to be put in a nursing home costing about £5 k a month . My mate's Portuguese grandma came over never worked a day in the UK & gets the £5k a month placement for free because she's skint. Signed over the house back home to her family & returns "home " in the summer. I like the old girl so no complaints, but working hard & living within your means all your life only to get rinsed when your old & ****ed is a mugs game . I might invest in a donkey sanctuary or something seems like the ethical way to dodge paying tax
So there's no other way of the Govt raising money? Mental how so many "rich" countries manage to have low or zero income tax... Instead of the Govt inflating our money away by spending a fortune on **** that no **** voted for, you know, like £25bn on Carbon capture, like £50bn giving up British territories, or being flippant enough to spunk £150m on dodgy PPE, they should reduce taxes and their spending. ITs not difficult to save when you're spending like ****.
