Did it really reach a new low? Really?

Starmer has been a bit wet and he needs to be noteworthy in his wording in the era we’re in. People don’t care for diplomacy and quietly getting on with the job any more. They want soundbites and catchy slogans and Farage is a big part of that. It’s very on brand for him to make such a meal of it.

because prior to digital ID life in China was all roses.

10 years ago if you wanted to buy a knife(cleaver) for you kitchen, you needed to apply to your local police station and get permission. Having a limited time from buying to getting home.

I think this is probably a sensible approach. I don't want to see the Human rights act scrapped as Farage would do, as that tears down all sorts of rights that people have fought for over decades if not centuries. But looking at how some of the laws are interpreted to make legal challenges to deportation makes sense to me.

On the issue of deportation, he was asked about the example of a Brazilian *****phile who successfully claimed he would be treated worse in a Brazilian prison than he would in a British prison.

The prime minister drew a line between deporting someone to "summary execution" and claims based on worse healthcare or prison conditions abroad.

"I believe that those genuinely fleeing persecution should be afforded asylum and that is a compassionate act," he added.

My cleaner got deported. Hadn’t heard from her and turns out she spent three weeks in a detention centre and flown home. Sad times.

Posh bastard for having a cleaner in the first place

And unless she was a Brazilian peadophile, then it seems a little heavy handed.

That’s fine. Throw in a “zionazi” to give it another dimension.

I mean it’s not a good look is it. A Zionazi paying £30 per week for ‘services’ from an illegal immigrant, where the bar is ‘as long as they’re not a Brazilian *****…..’

If they get the job done it’s fine. English cleaners tend to be horrendous.

Everyone furloughed or out of a job, something like 350,000 last time, the only ones that will keep working are border control and the mail.

Last time was over his wall about 6 years ago or something, they were shut down for 35 days that time.

Not read or listened to it, the knife idea aint a bad idea actually. We probably need something similar, just not involving the police.

I don't want soundbites and slogans from my politicians, and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same but yes accepted in todays environment it's what happens. Probably not a new low, no. I'm done with all of them tbph, we need a new news distraction, any chance your mob can blow the aid flotilla out of the water, it would be a great help.

Today is the holiest day of the Jewish year. The only one even the least religious adhere to (apart from me as I’m having an illicit coffee right now and going to football later).

Purely coincidentally after a journey of 36 years despite being the great emergency of this century after a bit of partying they’re due today I believe to drop off a couple of packs of baby formula, grab a few pics, have a whinge on Twitter about being abducted and get safely flown home.

I think it’s also the deadline for Hamas to sign the deal. Big day.

AI helps me out here, don't know what it means but...

    "G'mar Chatima Tovah"

    Edit:

    AI Overview

"G'mar chatima tovah" is a traditional Jewish greeting that means "A good final sealing". It is said during the High Holidays, particularly on Yom Kippur, referencing the belief that one's fate for the coming year is "sealed" in the Book of Life. The phrase is sometimes shortened to "G'mar tov," which means "a good seal" or "a good completion".

This is greatly appreciated. Except I’m not using electronic devices today during the fast so I haven’t seen it yet.
