We've got a somewhat shallow squad for reliably competing at this level. Not a problem as long as we have only one or two faces out - as at present. But if five or six starting XI regulars end up sidelined we could be in trouble. Fingers crossed... PS: Not blaming anyone for the current squad situation. I didn't think we would come up in the first place, and I didn't think the 2024-25 squad would be strengthened. Wrong on both counts but happy to be.
I think midfield is the biggest issue if any of those three get injured the replacements don't seem very reliable. I imagine Anderson would be next in line unless it was Carey and Knibbs comes in. Def and Strikers I think we have adequate replacements as shown in recent weeks. Rankin costello has not had a look in since joining
