Odobert's biggest problem is he should have gotten settled in last season, but only really got a run of games from February due to his hamstring injury in the early season, then needing hamstring surgery three weeks later due to somebody thinking he was good to go after the initial injury As for what he is, he's basically the player we wish Johnson was outside the box: someone who can use their pace to create space or dribble his way through defences. Just needs to work on his crossing a little bit, in case somebody suggests that sounds a little like Timo Werner...
Trying to see the positives of what we have . Of course we need a stronger LW but in the mean time to see Oderbert trying to work with Xavi and Spence/ Udogie is the best we can perhaps hope for right now.
They are halfway through their season so they are at full pelt will take that point and run we grinding out draws in games we could easily lose stayin positive with it
We need to reflect on, learn from, and improve after tonight’s performance. But results around Europe - like Gala beating Liverpool - and over Spurs’ history tell us that a point at Bodo isn’t to be sniffed at. They have an excellent European home record. And Spurs have deserved more from games in the past and got less.
I hadn't considered this. When we played them last season they were in the middle of their summer break iirc.
I know social media is an absolute cesspit for controversy, especially as clicks and views = money in most cases, but I’m really struggling with the fans that are on Frank’s back already. 9 games. 1 defeat. Yes, we can improve, but have fans forgotten that we basically lost most games last season? Have they forgotten what it was like just simply expecting to lose before the game even started? Chaotic football? No defence? In many of our games, we’re seeing majority the same players under a new manager, but at least Frank (in the most part) has made us much more secure at the back. There’s loads still to do, but we have to face the reality that many of our players are not of a good enough standard. I just can’t understand the mindset from certain fans at the moment. decent point away last night, despite how poor the performance was. Bodo isn’t an easy place to go, and coming back like that does a lot for the belief in a team. Onwards and upwards. Just need to keep grinding out results. COYS
