    We won a thing....

Stewart off the mark can only be a good thing to continue his positive involvement and Edwards and Wood have to be our defender go to's.

Whilst Quarshie has a clanger in him I'd still rather him than THB (in his current attitude).

maybe he swapped fellows to try to keep him fresh enough for three games in a week?

TBF it's easy to say that now! Not so much at HT where we were staring at a 7 game winless run. Hopefully this results lifts the pressure off everyone like the Leeds game did 2 seasons ago and we go on a run. Although the international break won't help.

Really chuffed for Ross Stewart. Big night for him, can’t remember the last time I was so pleased for an individual Saints player <applause>

Also very happy for Libby that he hasn’t reluctantly gone all the way to Sheffield and back on a coach midweek to see another crap result <laugh>

I wonder how often Fellows played 90 at West Brom. Have the feeling he might not be one of those naturally fit types.

Brilliant goal. Was just to the right of the goal from my perspective so had a great view of it.

Aside from the finish itself the way he opened his body to let it run past him and create the space was top class.

****ing brilliant day. Not even arsed in the slightest that I won't be home until gone 3am.

Other things worth an immediate mention:

Wood was again utterly brilliant, who had him as our best CB for this season?

Armstrong looked absolutely fuming about his penalty still when he was subbed off and walked past the away end. Love to see it.

The amount of time it took for their player to realise that their goal at the end hadn't counted was glorious.

More in the morning. ****ing exhausted and fancy a kip.

Football matches are 90 minutes and to be fair the meltdown at half time was funny. Especially when the Fellows sub was announced. I presume we can give credit to Still now seeing as it was his fault we were 1-0 down?

On sky there was one camera angle of him where he looked puffed out just before half time - though I was arguing with the cat at the time who was adamant he hadn't been fed so I may have mis-read the shot.

He's old and senile and gets a small bit of food several times a day else he pukes it...

Fair enough but I was getting Hull vibes from the first half. Before anyone bites my head off it was nowhere near as bad as Hull performance wise. But we need to be better in both penalty areas and get the ball forwards quicker. Another stupid goal to concede. Not clinical enough in the attacking box.

Second half was much better, particularly defensively. I don’t remember them having a clear cut chance despite their pressure. We didn't create much after Stewart's rocket but we didn't need to.

Hope Jack is made to work to get back in the team. Nothing against him, but Wood and Edwards deserve to keep their places in the side.

Jander is looking better with every game. Looks like we've found a gem there.

That Quarshie attempted tackle is the lowlight of the night. F*ck's sake man.

"I love to f*cking tackle" or something, he said, wasn't it? Shame because he is improving the other parts of his game. Still not ready though.

For all of our stuttering start to the season, we are only 3 points off third place.

38 games to go. Who's panicking?

Looking at the recent form table the top seven have had so many draws that it would only take a couple of wins strung together to be right in the mix

If you think I'm bad, check out Bill from East Sussex in the BBC live text page for the Championship. <laugh>
