Getting a point from being two nil down shows character but it shouldn't hide just how appalling the first half and especially the first ten minutes were. Select your top three, in order.
McBurnie Giles Gelhardt First half was absolutely pish, second was way better, and the subs changed the game. Both Millar and Slater were much better than what came before, but it does make you wonder why we started with Drameh and Palmer.
McBurnie - feed him and he’ll score Millar - fab to have him back. Gelhardt - anyone who drops him in favour of Palmer needs a psychiatric assessment. He gave us energy and belief harsh on Giles who deserves to be in there too, but Millar and Gelhardt transformed the energy. Hope Giles is ok as he is a man reborn. Both Palmer and Drameh are far too casual and need leaving out of the first team picture. Hadji can clearly only do one game a week. Good comeback but the first half stank to high heaven.
Just from the 2 nd. Half as the 1st. is best forgotten . 1. Mac Beastie - 2 goals and a robust performance. 2. Giles - worked well with Millar , 2 assists . He was shaking his head when subbed so hope the injury is not bad 3. Miller- gave us some width and trickery , got into some good positions and could of had a goal . We made them look good at times . In the end it could have gone either way . Thought Lundstrams shot at the death was going in . Come on City
Gelhardt what a great sub, never ever play Palmer ahead of this lad again. McBurnie excellent Joseph, only player trying in that dteadful first half. Ken Houghton minute applause and a ****y ****y ****y ****y Lancashire
