    Tuesday 30th September 8pm
    Champions League Group Stage
    Aspmyra Stadion, Bodo

No news yet, but Dragusin, Kulusevski and Maddison are all long-term injured.
Solanke, Takai, Davies, Sarr, Bissouma and Kolo Muani all missed the Wolves match.
Davies, Takai and Bissouma trained today, though the latter is not eligible for this competition.
    Neither side has any suspensions.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

    Spurs:
Vicario; Spence, Romero, van de Ven, Udogie; Palhinha, Bentancur; Kudus, Bergvall, Simons; Richarlison.
Subs: Kinsky, Porro, Danso, Gray, Sarr, Johnson, Odobert, Tel, Scarlett.
    League form: WWLWDD.

Bodo: Khaikin; Sjovold, Bjortuft, Aleesami, Bjorkan; Evjen, Berg, Brunstad Fet; Bassi, Hogh, Hauge.
Subs: Faye Lund, Nielsen, Dybvik Maatta, Klynge, Helmersen, Bro Hansen.
    League form: WDWWWD.

Ref: Ivan Kružliak (SVK). VAR: Bram Van Driessche (BEL).
I never like it when the ref and VAR officials are from different countries.
Kruzliak previously reffed us in the group stage against PSV in 2018. We won 2-1 with two late goals.

    TV: TNT Sports 2.

How would you like to line up for this one and how do you think we actually will line up?

Solanke has had a minor surgery on his ankle, according to Frank.
Should know more after the international break, apparently.
Our whole striker situation has been horribly mismanaged.
Everyone knew it was a ****-up almost immediately.

Definitely should have been aware RKM was in pre-season limbo and hadn't done any pre-season training, similar to Nkoudou

And we did nothing to get Scarlett up to speed either, despite Kolo Muani being a last minute signing.
Absolutely nowhere near good enough, I'm afraid.

Cristian Romero hasn't travelled for this one, so his leg's probably fallen off or something.

    Apparently Romero hasn’t travelled?

    Assuming it’ll be something like

    Vic
    Porro Danso VdV Spence
    Sarr Palhinha Xavi
    Kudus Richy Whoever

Death, taxes and Spurs players undergoing surgery after weeks of everyone pissing about pretending that they don't need surgery.
Plus ça change, plus c'est la même.

    I'd go with
    Kinsky
    Porro Danso VDV Udogie
    Sarr Bentancur Gray
    Johnson Richarlison Simons

We're already in danger of running players into the ground, Kudus being top of that list.

    Precaution, according to Frank

Likely due to Cuti looking in some discomfort after winning a late challenge

As I've mentioned in the past, in areas where decision success can easily be measured, getting 55% right is world beating performance. The judgement on whether a small injury requires treatment is obviously very tricky. What evidence is there that we are doing worse than expected?

Like CK said, I think we need to be careful with Kudus - and Palhinha - and avoid burning them out. I really want to see a 4231 instead of a 433 and get Xavi playing in his best position. Not sure playing him LW is doing his confidence any good and it’s not really doing the team any good either.

    I’d go with

    Kinsky
Porro, Danso, van de Ven, Spence
    Sarr, Bentancur
    Johnson, Xavi, Odobert
    Richarlison

What concerns me more is what I see as a recent trend of players getting injured then supposedly returning to the point of actually playing competitive football again, when a simple eye test will show that they look miles off of fitness, then they disappear again and a few weeks later comes the inevitable surgery announcement.

We've seen this with Solanke, Richarlison, Kulusevski, Micky and one other who I can't recall and that's in the past two years alone.

Who is giving the green light for them to return to action when they are clearly not right?

Xavi on the bench is odd, I would have thought that champions league would suit him and help bring him up to speed

Ignore the typo that gave Kinsky and Davies the same squad number...

    Bloody good choice
He has all the characteristics of a leader from what I have seen of him, both on and off the field.
