Naah, not played them in October in ages. Usually early September for some reason.

You're getting mixed up with the other pogs that turn up in their caravans in October.

Quite short notice for those who use the Car Park and may put a fair few off attending.

I'd be a bit miffed if I'd paid for a match ticket and used that car park only to be told that week that there was no parking(That would also apply to members who are a bit unsteady or of an age and travel a reasonable distance and rely on Walton St car park)?

Surely this has been discussed before now and could've been announced weeks ago?

I know it does but that's not the point I'm making...I'm querying the amount of notice of closure, seems a bit short to me.

Thanks for the heads-up ..12.30 kick off. Will use the bus, for a change, to get there. Go for a beer or two, in Avenue on the way home and get back for Rovers v St Helens on BBC 2 at 5.30. Sorted.

I'm accustomed to 'Glasgow Fair fortnight' weather, that's July and it pisses down for the 2 weeks:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Difference being 'Glasgow Fair fortnight' isn't actually a 'Fair'....work that one out!!

It's a traditional age old period(last fortnight or thereabouts of July) when a lot of workplaces close for the fortnight and Glaswegians go on holiday.

The Friday leading up to it(when workers finish up for the forthnight) is known as Fair Friday and the Monday(Fair Monday) is a public holiday...

But yes, anyway,it pisses down for a fortnight and I've had countless soakings at Hamilton Fair Friday race meeting and Ayr Fair Monday race meeting...In days gone by when your pay was cash in a brown envelope and you got your holiday pay up front, many a child never saw a holiday due to their Fathers gambling habits...That's fact:emoticon-0101-sadsm

It’s why Newcastle United can never have home games in June. A travesty.
