He co **** it. No point in trying to explain. Bias always plays a part. Penalty for me. End of my comments.
Can't agree mate he gets the ball before the player runs into him. He gets the ball what's he supposed to do let him score a goal?
I actually can't understand why anyone thinks kicking the ball should result in a penalty and probably a red card.
Not a red card. Just a penalty. We all would have wanted one for that foul pope did. But at the same time Gabriel should have been sent off and a penalty given. You can see both sides. But our own bias will prevail. Imho we should both have had a penalty. But Gabriel should have been sent off.
I wouldn't I didn't want one when longstaff got kicked in the face. It was an accident. Common sense stuff.
@Gangsta Ginola You're right about double standards mind.. Arsenal fans would say it wasn't a penalty if it was us getting it. The fact is the keeper is allowed to kick the football though. The player ran into the keeper as much as the keeper into the player...if Pope doenst kick that ball the player runs into him anyway.
Why are you explaining? Pope got the ball first and had diverted it to a place where the Arsenal player was unlikely to catch up with it and score. That's literally why it wasn't given. I don't know why you'd what to explain otherwise, because your explanation would be wrong.
It’s just my opinion. I’m allowed that. I personally think both penalties should have stood. The initial decision for Popes was the ref thought it was a penalty. Was it clear and obvious (for the referee) that he got it wrong? If not it’s a penalty. The fact that a slow motion replay played afterwards isn’t a clear and obvious error. As such the penalty should stand.
If he didn't get the ball yeah. They just wanted it to be pen on TV mate... Not heard much of the media yapping about the saliba punch in the face or our pen shout. I wonder why.
Ahh, that’s the part where you always seem to get confused. I say discuss. Not repeat again and again and again and again. Simples.
You repeat yourself I don't care You're like trump tbh. Very similar... Everything you post I read in trumps voice...
No one cares if you think both penalties should have stood, the rules state otherwise. You can't just say the Arsenal penalty should have stood, because the clear rules prove it shouldn't have.
I may say it once every page or in correcting your errors but not like some posters making the same point 3 or 4 times a page. It makes a big difference. Again, shouldn’t be too difficult to understand.
