There were chants for him to be sacked yesterday

I agree but seems people just aren’t having him for various reasons .

And and is this us ?

Having watched the extended highlights we were much better in the first half than we felt we were, three times our deference went totally ,missing and we were only punished once while we created three or four chances but could not finish them plus the blatant handball missed by all the so called referee and assistants

Second half we let Hull off the hook and should have scored more than just the two, Hull had two good chances on the counter attack but our defence and goalie dealt with them

If we can get a settled defence and cut out the silly errors and be more clinical in the opposition third we might just surprise everyone and get involved in the race for automatic promotion rather than scraping into the play offs

We definitely have the ammunition, it's just so far we've been inadvertently aiming at our feet. <ok>

From what I saw on Saturday we have the tools - no doubt. We played better than Hull for most of the game. They got 5 yellow cards - we got one. You don't get points for not gettting cards, but Hull were rattled. At the minute we are droppimg points in 2 ways. First , the defence falls asleep occasionally. - often by one of our ball playing CB's coming out of defence with the ball and then losing it. At that point we are very vulnerable. Second, we just don't have an instinctive goal scorer. Semedo hesitated twice on /Sat with a clear shot available (and it ruined my 3-1 prediction !) Anyway, consider this. It's a long season - it is isn't won or lost in September. We have the best squad we've had for ages. In every position we have at least 2 players of first team standard - except possibly the instinctive goalscorer. And we have the squad to play in different formations - to coiunter different types of oppostion. If one (or more) of our 3 (4?) nominated CF's can grow in confidence , we have the complete toolbox for a long season. However, we do now have some effective set piece deliverers So I am reasonably hopeful of a top 6 finish at least. What we need is a run of wins - we never won more than twice consecutively all last season. A run of just 3 wins would engender that streak of confidence that just makes the game easier to play. The unusual/clever/effective move/pass comes more instinctive and more threatening.
