I've said before the NRA control America. This isnt going away. They are obviously happy to accept having guns. Be interesting to see what the results would be if they were given a vote. My thoughts are most would vote in favour of keeping guns.

The US is bordering on a lawless country these days. Guns freely available, people who feel disenfranchised and have guns readily available to release their frustration. Their government are in no hurry to limit the mind blowing number of weapons that are circulating in the States and lots find their way into the hands of mentally disturbed people. Until someone in power has the gonads to make this an election issue and runs against the NRA this situation will only get worse.
It won't happen. The NRA are too powerful (rich) and have too many influential clients with vested interests. Just remember what Charlie Kirk had to say about gun ownership, though, all these shootings are just a small price to pay so that the American people can have the right to own guns...
The shooter was a 40 year old marine veteran. There are several people still unaccounted for. The FBI are investigating this as yet another "act of targeted violence" on Christians.
