Imagine the refereeing and VAR decisions we'd be seeing if it was near the end of a season and Man Utd were actually in genuine risk of being relegated. They would be spectacular.
We're **** at a few things tbh.... There's no getting away from it. People will point at something like faith or what happened in the past, anything to try and point away from what's happening on the pitch..
Yeah we got schooled in every area for most the game. The only impressive players were Botman Livramento and Thiaw.. Guimareas Tonali and Joelinton were ****e and the wingers at the club a need replacing. Gordon? What the hell has happened to him? Where are all the players Howes improved?
Thought Tonali was good, and got an assist. Bruno and big Joe were ****e like. And i'm getting a bit sick of Gordon, runs about doing **** all apart from losing the ball, and sort yer ****ing hair out ya big girls blouse.
Again I think when you’re adamant about character at the expense of talent you’re going to be severely restricted. Howe has never once thought about upgrading the first XI. He constantly looks to replace his subs and it’s a very limited outlook that can’t work. This summer the champions upgraded Robertson, Trent, Nunez and every new player has started within the first few weeks. Arsenal the same. We have time and again bought subs.
They should have let Mitchell do his job.... It's beginning to look like we're heading towards some difficult times.
We need to stop the 5 men at the back bs. Botman and Thiaw needs to be our CBpairing. Hall at LB, Trippier RB.
Tonali was wrecked /injured before Joelinton came off I thought it would have been him subbed rather tha big joe As I said before he was hanging onto the post stretching his leg near the end
Ultimately we look crap. Just plain crap. Not intense, not interesting, not clever, not dynamic, not fit enough, not interested, not exciting, just crap.
Howe harps on about desire and commitment whilst continually lamenting a lack of quality. Erm, whose idea was it to buy Elanga for £55m, Barnes for £40m, Gordon for £42m? Whose idea is it to experiment with 541 formations against the likes of Bournemouth? Who is putting players like Osula, Trippier and Lascelles into matches with one of the best teams in the country? However the happy clappers want to spin it, Howe has been instrumental in an awful pre season and a worse early season.
Can't argue against that in all honesty, we played well against Liverpool but ultimately lost, beat a ****e Wolves side. It's been a worrying start to the season.
