Just watched highlights and we did look very good for long spells esp in 1st half. Disappointed to concede late sloppy goal. They missed Chappers. Gaffer noted that new boy Matusiwa is improving every game, Cajuste looks like a prem player oozing quality and then Nunez comes on for a fine cameo role. Jaden clearly enjoying his game now and coukd have scored more. And as someone said with a smile! Davis and the left side bombed down time again. And my goodness what a beast Kipre is. Hardly gave Bishop a look in. Azor I liked the look of and might have scored. Interesting dilemma for KM, but prob start with Hirst most games, or maybe Azor starts Tues and Hirst comes on later. We need our top team all firing Saturday. Egele will grow into the game and had touches of class. Makateer, hmm, tho tbh he was better than previous 2 games. Even Palmer looking more assured with his feet, tho he still gives me kittens at times. As I said 2 months ago, by end September the team will be gelling nicely.
Perfect game for Kipre. Much as Kmc used Edmundson against certain teams, kipre can physically match up against a more robust centre forward, not sure how much pace he’s got though. Central midfield partnership was awesome especially in the 1st half. Hirst and Azon both looked fitter and sharper than previously - bodes well for the future. Goes without saying that it is a big week coming up
