Broke his leg in a Club World Cup match yesterday.

I guess that's ruling him out as our new striker for January. <whistle>

I don't think we could incorporate him into our system anyway...

Awful news. Barca will be fine though, Sanchez, Pedro, Messi, Iniesta, Fabregas and others have played his position recently. Bigger blow for Spain though.

Not sure, but I am certain that there used to be an NUFCaw that posted on here. He was much cooler than this guy though!

I keep forgetting that Spain, along with all of the other incredible players, also have Torres, who is one of the best strikers in the world when he's on form.

Shame he's **** at the moment though.

Yeah, they must be ****ting the fact they'd have to play David Silva, he's rubbish. Or any of the Spanish players you just listed. So much depth, its not as if they have to call up a Bobby Zamora it it.

Just imagine a joint England-Spain team...

    --------------Green--------------
    Johnson---Pique--Lecott---Enrique
    Silva----Iniesta----Xavi----Mata
    ---------Heskey--Zamora-------

Just shows the difference in class between the two...
