Given he mainly gets 15-20 minutes cameos, if the former happens it'd be the team's fault for not putting the game to bed
Watched the first half, Moore was very poor. Be surprised if he isn’t subbed tbh. His loan spell hasn’t worked out so far. Doesn’t help the manager is having a nightmare with results though.
Getting pulled at half time, even though it was tactical due to having a player sent off, doesn't help Hopefully it builds his mental toughness at the very least
It wasn’t tactical as his replacement was a like for like one. He had a rotten first half and so far his loan spell hasn’t worked out well at all. Just hope when Martin is sacked (can’t be far off) that the new manager still wants Moore, if not then possibly he will return to Spurs in January
They had their AM sent off right before half time so subbed on somebody who plays both RW and AM in a vain effort to hold onto the ball Which would have worked, if not the the obvious issue that the only time Rangers can hold onto the ball is when taking throw-ins, and even then it's 50/50
Hopefully somebody half-decent gets brought in to replace Martin soon. Moore's been either left out or played out of position in a team that's playing terribly. He'd genuinely be better off beating up on some U21s with Williams-Barnett. At least they could get used to playing together in two of our weaker areas, depth wise.
Manor Solomon played 72 minutes in Villarreal's 1-0 win over Athletic Bilbao...and the bloke who replaced him scored the winner, the exact opposite of last week Alejo Veliz played 90 minutes in Rosario Central's 3-0 win over Gimnasia La Plata, scoring the opening goal, picking up a booking, and having a second goal chalked off in stoppage time Alfie Dorrington was a halftime sub in Aberdeen's 2-0 loss to Motherwell Jamie Donley was an unused sub in Stoke's 1-1 draw with Norwich Ashley Philips was an unused sub in Stoke's 1-1 draw with Norwich Yang Min-hyuk played 74 minutes in Portsmouth's 2-1 loss to Ipswich Alfie Devine played 84 minutes in Preston's 0-0 draw with Bristol City, picking up a booking Will Lankshear played 78 minutes in Oxford's 1-0 loss to Sheffield United George Abbott was a halftime sub in Wycombe's 2-1 loss to Wimbledon Damalola Ajayi wasn't in the squad for Doncaster's 1-0 loss to Luton Tyrese Hall played 72 minutes in Notts County's 2-1 loss to Crewe, picking up a booking
Not a single win from any of the loanees new teams! But more seriously, there are a couple in there who seem to not be getting any match time at all, which frankly ain't gonna help their development one bit.
Villarreal and Rosario Central won In terms of minutes, the only real worries right now are Donley, Yang and Phillips, as the rest are either getting regular minutes or are starting to establish themselves as a starter already If I were to make a guess, Stoke currently being third in the table has a lot to do with Donley and Phillips not getting as many minutes, as the last five seasons had them firmly in mid-table so more likely to give them time on the pitch, but starting so strong as seen Stoke double down on their starting xi continuing to deliver the goods early on
