Mother broke her hip the other week. Struggling. Not nice seeing her age years in a matter of weeks and in pain. It bothers you more than you’d imagine.

You’re welcome, your feelings are all completely understandable given how long you posted OTR.

As many said on this board when you set out what had happened you are very welcome on here and that will continue to be the case because of the way you are as a person.

You’ve now got a support network on here as well. That support is here for everyone from everyone.

    Take it steady.

My Uncle passed away tonight. I managed to get to the hospital to see him for an hour. Absolutely heartbroken.

Thanks all. Been a really tough few days seeing him decline so rapidly. Now picking up the pieces and trying to make sense what happens next. Tough seeing my Dad and my other uncle so upset.

Really struggling here, in August I lost an older sister to a heart attack and the rest of the family only found out as my wife hears from a stranger on the evening after the funeral was held.

Me and another sister live less than a quarter of a mile away.

Now just found out my closest brother has just weeks to live due to 80% of his lung having scarring and heart damage as that worked harder to make up the deficit- he'd been having fainting spells and the doctors were just giving him B12 jabs.

That's awful mate. Take time to grieve for your sister. Can you have your own memorial in some way? Like a family meal where you can share thoughts and memories of your sister together. It's not the same as the actual funeral but it would be your own special way of saying goodbye to her.

Spend as much time as you can with your brother and hope he's as comfortable as he can be.

Stay strong mate and make sure to look after yourself.

My wifes father passed on Sunday (he was also my best mate) and we've been reeling a bit from that. The one thing that i have discovered is that the most important thing is to look after yourself or you won't be strong enough to be there for others
