Point being that it could all quickly go to **** for Sunderland too. Bit too early to call them everyone's 2nd team.
We all used to gather on here to cheer on Phil Orange and his Tigers. Remember it fondly. Saxton was our king. Simpler times.
did a collection outside charlton for young lives v cancer in memory of my mates 17 yr old boy who was taken nearly 4 years ago...raised a fair bit... went to watch the game...CAFC beat Blackburn 3 nil. left after an hour to meet a mate to come to spurs... 2 matches in one day
Could throw Blackpool into that mix as well. Plucky little Blackpool, brilliant for half a dozen games and then just went down anyway. Like Hull. And........
Blackpool were a team most people liked though. Not sure Hull ever were. Certainly not anyone who has spent time in Hull.
Spanish kid my missus works with supports them. Just picked them out of a hat when he moved here but does genuinely follow them and occasionally goes. What a pick.
Although I did used to love going to the Illuminations, so it's certainly better than Hull in that respect. Sadly, no longer the case.
Conjour up the spirit of Comm so he can regale us with tales of the good old Sunderland board days. Love that story.
As much as I hate a lot of our fans when I saw that last week it made me grateful that there's much worse out there.
Calling Poes law there. Sunderland did look decent tbh, Xhaka was a good signing, look to be more about them than Hull, Blackpool etc at this stage.
