I sat down with Noah Sadiki & Chemsdine Talbi at Sunderland this week - and had to ask Noah about the phrase going round the #SAFC fans, ‘70% of the Earth is covered by water - the rest is covered by Noah Sadiki’: “Haha! Yeah I know of this from the fans - I’ve read it online. I mean, it’s not true! But I’m just trying to do my best every time I’m on the pitch and leave it all out there!” #SAFC
Thank you @RTB for setting the scene again with an excellent match day thread. Safe journey to all travelling down today. Another tough test for the lads but based on our games so far we can definitely be confident of taking something from today’s game. Feeling a little worse for wear today after a night at the Firestation last night so watching on Sky with my feet up, a nice cup of tea and some custard creams!!!
As Ballard is coming back from injury I reckon he will be used as a sub. Makes sense to ease him back in even though he could do the full 90. This means Massuaku or Gerty at LB.
I certainly will, but there's no harm in speculation. My view, great thread as ever RLB lad Roll on the teamsheet Hhhaaa'wwwwaaaaayyyyyy the lads
"The data tells us that there could be goals in the second half of this game. Sunderland are one of just two sides yet to score in the first half of their Premier League games this season, along with Aston Villa. However, only league leaders Liverpool (7) have netted more goals in the second half of games than the Black Cats (6)." https://theanalyst.com/articles/nottingham-forest-vs-sunderland-prediction-premier-league-09-2025
Gone for the straightforward changes, thought he might. Be interesting to see how Masuaku plays for us, steady defender or the lunatic wing back some West Ham fans were claiming. Not a bad bench for us that mind and O9 is back!
