Tough game tomorrow. Salford are 2nd in the league, have the joint 2nd goals scored in the league only behind Swindon. So they are free scoring. But they have conceded 1 more than us so can leak a goal. I think we will miss Promise who offers some physicality. We need to be at our best defensively.

Salford should have killed the game in the 1st half but wasted chances. Cavegn was clean through and was taken down. Should have been straight red as last man. Looked like the ref was going to give it as put whistle to mouth but decided not to give it as would mean he would have to give the red. We always get the worst ref's. DC changed it at HT and moved to a 4 at the back. Got more bodies in midfield bringing Conteh in and we looked better. But we didn't really create much so I'm delighted we still won while not at our best and beat a good side.
Yep, same! Must stop trying to second guess DC and just accept that he knows far more about football than I do! Great result and sounded like a proper battling performance - Cavegn and Southwood looking like really good signings. Six unbeaten and into the playoff places. My U15s won this morning, 82 didn’t so it’s a good weekend of football - UTG!
I'm really glad Cavegn has started scoring regularly now. Seems such a nice guy. Hopefully he keeps this up and he can hold on to him.
