    RIP Dickie Bird,
    and RIP Claudia Cardinale.

Both led fascinating and full lives in very different ways.

    RIP Billy Vigar

Only in his early 20's, died after sustaining a terrible injury when he collided with a concrete wall during a match.
Come on football authorities, take action to prevent things like this.
And don't make cash-strapped non-league Clubs pay for extra safety measures. Help them.

The vast majority of non-league clubs I've visited have a fence around the perimeter of the pitch. I always thought it was a legal requirement, but this is clearly not the case.

    RIP Billy

Having looked at pictures of Wingate's ground, it would appear they have a wall around part of the pitch, then a barrier.

The FA must order clubs to remove these walls and install fencing instead. If it takes grants to pay for it, then so be it.
