    Ridiculous decision, overvaluing the level of a competition and by so-doing causing Ipswich fans to have to pay out for another long trip midweek to Lancs.
    By all accounts the game could and should have been abandoned at HT, when score was still 0-0 and 11 a side.

    Are these claims verified? If so, it's difficult not to see serious conflicts of Interest at the very least. As for the same 4 officials all getting the gig at a City cup final - well, if true, that is just corruption hiding in plain sight!

    Oliver and his buddies should certainly never be allowed to officiate at a City game or indeed any game, the result of which could benefit City.

    But that's very complicated.
    Far better to just send him to ref permanently in Abu Dhabi :emoticon-0148-yes:

    Brentford go 1 up against United in 8 mins with an absolute cracker.
    VAR had a chance to overturn it for 2 (unjustified ) reasons had they wanted to, but the goal stood. Maybe United have lost their influence over officialdom <laugh>
