Farke did make a comment a month ago that a clubb of Leeds size doesn't pay 16m for a keeper to leave him on bench
Darlow has done far than enough to get the number 1 slot but Perri was bought as the number 1 so even though its a bit shyte i see Farke putting him straight back in when fit. I watched Bournemouth at weekend against the Toon and their transition in games is lethal so many quick thinking players. Stopping them scoring will be a mega task. But every game is different being back at ER will give us that extra man.
I realy feel for Darlow, by and large been a very dependable keeper when the chips are down,and played a huge part in getting us promoted, but having said that he couldn't wrestle the number one spot from a very poor Meslier till right at the end, so i don't have much hope of him getting the nod over perri when fit. Darlow has done enough to keep his place but a £16m keeper on the bench doesn't sound right Replace Darlow for Perri now whilst Darlow hasn't made a mistake and he can be brought back in, wait for that 'Meslier' type display and he might be destroyed for the rest of the season Afternoon all
From Farke, Perri out so Darlow stays between the sticks. Bogle and James should both be fit, willy still out.
Too early to make a judgement on Perri… but if you based your decision on what you’d seen in the PL this season you wouldn’t replace Darlow with Perri. factor in what happened in the league cup and you can make an argument for either. as we know Farke doesn’t like changing his keeper… but if injury dictates a change, how many games out does it take before the replacement keeper is seen as the incumbent? personally I think Perri will return when fit, whenever that is, no matter how well Darlow performs
Pirri will be back between the sticks after the international break. Pirri back training with the team next week but will not walk straight back in until after the break. Pirri I believe is an outstanding keeper and will prove his worth
Doc I saw you mention previously that he was really highly regarded in the game. All I saw was some decent but unspectacular stats from his 1 season in the French league. Not much to go on really. What have you seen/heard that gives you such confidence in him,
