Palestine recognises the right of Israel to exist and has done since 1988. It is time for Israel to recognise the right of Palestine to exist.

Lots more details in there but a committee has been assembled to convene a constitution ahead of free and fair elections for governance of the West Bank and Gaza under Arab and international support.

 

I didn't diminish the conflict there - simply pointed out that it was an indigenous conflict rather than a foreign occupation / invasion (and that the warring factions had similar military capabilities - unlike the Gaza conflict)... for those that are still struggling with that conceptually, I'm happy to expand ... as always
