Any chance you could put the date of the game, instead of just “Saturday”? I was thinking of archiving the OP from each match day thread, so that future generations of City fans could have easy reference to all the stats, just saying Saturday at 3.00 could be confusing. Thanks in advance.
Sounds like their manager is yet another one that try’s to play possession football Pep style without Pep quality players, it’s kind of an anti football boring style, we’ve witnessed it ourselves from a few recent managers, for me it’s awful and I’m more than happy to see we’ve now abandoned that awful style of play under a manager that appears to know his onions. Am so glad we don't try to play that possession type football now, especially in our own box. I still have nightmares of our goalies trying to play goal kicks to Greaves inside the 6 yard box as 3 forwards rush at them. I have recently being diagnosed with high blood pressure and I blame our previous managers entirely!
Sounds like Watford have got a manger in who craves possession above all else. Rinse and repeat for this weekend.
If we can stay focused at the back then we should have the ability to get something out of it. We're still seeing a few brain farts in defence. If any opposing team capitalises on those moments then we only give ourselves a mountain to climb. We were better against Southampton but we still made a few silly mistakes. I want to see Hughes have a really dominant 90 minutes on Saturday as he's been a bit shaky.
