The main issue isn't how the NHS is funded. It's how it is managed. It's a black hole financially speaking, and that will be the case no matter where the money comes from . It is completely mis managed.

Hospital entry ways being remodeled with fancy deco, while it system are still running Windows xp. Staff having to do things manually because half the it infrastructure doesn't work properly, wasting time

It consultant being paid, when internal NHS it staff take weeks to provide what the consultant needs to work so they are being paid to wait around

Couple of examples I know off the top of my head, but there are many more

It doesn't matter which party is in power, they will still staff the NHS management and boards with their best mates , who are incompetent and happy to line their pockets.
Reform, conservative or Labour. All the same ****.

Complex systems won't survive the competency crisis.

There’s a lot of modernisation in the new plan, including leadership. I was at an awareness session last week through work. Pretty impressive I think.

Fair enough. I don't follow closely, just general going on as I'm not in the country, but if they can fix the leadership and management it will be a big step in the right direction. I'll believe it when I see it though

I didn’t get the finer details but I did get a perspective. With the extra going in they needed to redirect more towards the front line so expecting Noreen capacity at staff level with simpler systems proven to work expanded.

I got my invite today to book a covid booster and flu jab from October. Got to give them credit for the preventative treatment for vulnerable people.

    The presentation was from Yoda
Basically there is more money but they want more technology to speed up assessment, less admin, replicate effective efficient systems and lose bureaucrats. More frontline more quickly.

I won’t have my Covid jab any more. For no other reason than I’ve been ill every time I’ve had it! Had the first 3 but that’s it.

Mind, there are some canny conspiracy theorists who will tell you that covid is all made up!

Not made up yes but was it created in a lab and escaped through lax controls, that is the question surely.
