Wasn't aware what league Bradford City are in these days, they're top of league one apparently. We've gone out to much worse

But anyway enough football talk, **** off everyone.

Bradford will have a big following on Wednesday.
There is absolutely no way we start Bruno or Joelinton in this game. Suspect the team will be:

    Ramsdale
    Kraft Thiaw Botman Hall
    Willock Tonali Miley
    Barnes Murphy
    Gordon

Think it will be a similar formation to Bournemouth - 3 at the back again, resting as many as possible for the weekend - but with Bruno missing his first game in 60 odd games think he will start.

    Rambo
    Thiaw-Lascelles-Botman
    Krafth-Miley-Bruno-Hall
    Elanga-Gordon-Willock

Surely nobody at the club is stupid enough to go with Man Us dire formation?

That's literally how we played at the weekend dropping into 5-4-1 out of possession?

Bradford is going to be trickier than people think. Potential banana skin.

Don’t get me wrong - I don’t disagree with you, think Howe had the chance to go 4-2-3-1 but instead went more defensive and went 3-4-3 which imho was a mistake. As you say no intensity or aggression, very dull watch at the weekend and congratulations on only falling asleep the thrice!

Think he’s going to rest as many for Arsenal at the weekend as possible and that the formation “suits” the players coming in - defensively solid - and allows him to rest as many starting XI as possible while getting mins into the fringe players.

    • Referee: Thomas Kirk --- 1st time reffing Newcastle

    • don't aske me who as I haven't a clue he has only started reffing in the championship last year
    • 2 year ago he was reffing league 2
    • without VAR to bail him out I'm expecting some very weird decisions

    • Assistant Referees: Mark Scholes and Andrew Fox
    • Fourth Official: Anthony Backhouse

If Howe starts with Barnes and Trippier I'm expecting a lively start to the game on here tonight. If Bradford score first there will be wet sheets aplenty.
    I can't wait, don't let me down lads..<laugh>

Hopefully everyone will be nice and wholesome to each other.

    Fancy another trophy?

Saw a few fans celebrating goals last night.. Almost as if they want this cup afterall.

This definitely has the possibility of being a banana skin. We rarely seem to play well against lower league sides, and Howe will be thinking about the big game at the weekend that can get our season properly going.

I hope Bruno starts and sees at least some of the game, and the squad ups its game.
