yes i am serious and i hope we get him. Kenny needs competition. Cerney had a good game at liverpool but really shouldnt be anwywhere near the premier league.

IF Cerny was to get a new contract that would take him to 38 years of age. Sorry, but that is too much for him to be playing premier leaue football. I know Schwarzer and Friedal are both late 30's, but they are playing regular first team footie...............keep Cerny as goalie coach for the youngsters

Well the one save against Liverpool when he was moving to his right, and still managed to make the save sharp down on the ground to his left, showed there's not too much ageing in his reactions! One of the best saves I've seen all season. With the other great saves he made in that game, and no errors in all the 3 games, he certainly looks up to another year to me as 1 of our 3 keepers. Although 3 games ain't so many, I have felt we have been a little safer with Cerny, than with Paddy between the sticks.

Gomes was awesome at PSV Eindhoven, the fans still love him, together with Alex from Chelski they were the backbone of the team who made it into the semifinals of the Champions League and became two times League winners, i know they are friends off the pitch as well.
Maybe we could make a cheeky bid for Alex too convincing him he will team up again with his pal Gomes.

He was Pey, some of his saves are amazing, unreliable though.

Gomes is a lot better keeper than people give him credit for. Was brilliant for PSV, and I believe he holds the all time record for most consecutive home clean sheets at Tottenham. For me, the amount of criticism he receives is undeserved, and if we signed him (unlikely), he would be the best keeper in the squad.

This is very unfair on the lad. He was one of the main reasons we got top 4 a couple of seasons ago. Outstanding shot stopper, made a few blunders last season, (less than someone like fabianski I must say) and now he's worse than QPR's 3 keepers! You should be shouting from the rooftops if you get him - still fairly young for a GK.

Can be absolutely brilliant or a complete twat. If we were a better team we could forgive the odd howler but in our position that could be curtains. Speroni is a safer bet...

So you think he'll come to us as no 2?
He may as well stay at spurs

Brilliant keeper. Howlers yes, but he saves more points than he looses. Out of our league IMO, unfortunately. A loan though could benefit both clubs and player.
