Hard to argue against dembele. Obviously Salah on an individual was incredible, but CL winner generally always wins it. How Yamal was 2nd was the crazy one though. Wasn’t anywhere as good as dembele or Salah last year - just lots of good PR as a young player.
He'll play to the best of his ability. I know some don't like his views on gayness, but he otherwise comes across as a decent professional. I hope he plays well and scores their consolation goal in a 1-5 win. And that motivates him to deflect all the foreign offers coming his way on Jan 1st.

Genuin question to a couple of posters on here. How many times did you see Yamal or Mbappe play last year. Only asking because i think the most i saw of either of them was about 4 games and they looked pretty good in those. The thing is though these things are based on a full season (a lot of games).
think you will find most of the voters didn't watch that many . Half the time it is just based on the CL / International tournaments and publicity .
The things aren’t based on a full season though. They should be I agree, but they aren’t. Salah has the best stats across the whole season of any forward in terms of goals / assists, but it’s he’s my favoured on the later ends of the year. Dembele first half of the season was average but had a very good Jan onwards - still not surpassing Salahs numbers despite Salahs drop off in the final few months. Unfortunately, it’s generally done on whoever was the best player of the team that won the CL. Like I said, no complaints dembele winning it, he was best player of the best team. But that’s not always the case. Like anything though, it’s a popularity contest, yamal was very good last year and stats for 17 year old and how he played in Cl was ridiculous, but no chance he was better than Salah last year who swept the board in the Prem. Heck Raphinha was being talked about by many as having a better season for Barca than Yamal, but he got the Barca PR and commercially that probably makes sense as they know can push him to incredible commercial heights to bring in the € Saying that, from 2 downwards it doesn’t really matter who finishes where as no one pays that much attention to it.
Saw yamal several times. Saw mbappe stink the place out for Madrid and France. Saw dembele enough to know psg bought the results prior to their falling out with Donna the flapper. The lad can run but he cant hit the broadside of a barn with a banjo from 5 yards. Yamal was the better more exciting .ore consistent player. Salah went to bits for the final 3rd of season. 4th was actually good.
