Its got to the stage now, if Scheffler gets his nose in front, the rest are playing for 2nd place...much like Tiger in his pomp....But a master class of Links play from Scottie, fully deserved and great to watch
@The Legendary Tongue I dpubt I’ll get a low handicap again. Broke my shoulder three years ago and it hasn’t healed properly. We’ll see though! You never know
Don't put pressure when you do play mate I had an unofficial handicap of 8 when I played often but stopped playing for ages, when I got started again I was more off 15 but kept putting pressure on myself to be that 8 player again
Brilliant from Fleetwood last night, seems such a top bloke and player - hopefully leads to many more wins for him
Just enjoy it mate and see where it takes you. You might get competitive again. There’ll always help and advice here if you need it.
A guy i went to school with is a caddy on the European tour and he said Tommy is probably the most likeable golfers you'll ever meet
Ryder Cup in a few weeks time...for me the best sporting event there is... Donald is making his captains picks on Monday...who do you reckon.. Just Hope Aberg, Rahm and Fitzpatrick are 3 of them
Lowry will def get a captains pick, I think Hovland and probably the 3 you mentioned, then I'm not sure on the 6th
I thought he deserved the last slot instead of Fitz, but can understand why Luke has gone for experience over there. got Friday off for a morning round, followed by ‘glued to the telly’ watching my favourite sporting event. come on Europe, let’s do the septics in style.
Agreed. The strength and depth Europe have at its disposal is phenomenal. USA have a decent side but I think we have a real strong chance of beating them in their own back yard. Having a round on Thursday afternoon with Somb, first in a while. The joys of working from home means that Friday i will be firmly sat in front of the TV and doing very little work.
I love the Ryder cup. We are very experienced and should be able to handle the crowd. Easier said than done. Our squad looks better v home advantage.
I think Europe will win, as has been said, we have a more experienced and cohesive squad and America are 12 talented individuals. At least I hope so
