Just remembered, did anyone else notice that it wasn't Steve Jordan doing the 'Welcome to the MKM, East Stand, West Stand etc.....' call before kick off yesterday? What's happened there then?
I noticed that . I thought the purpose of a microphone was stop the need to shout. Perhaps the Jordon appearance was to teach the newbie which was which stand.
PSG do it from the off they pressure you hard for at least 30 mins . Noticed after half time Pandur kept kicking it long but as saints had us under pressure it kept coming back! On another note I though Darko came on initially as a forward and the ball kept coming thru’ the middle passing him by BUT as soon as there were other changes he reverted to a central midfield role and looked very good and composed . The new guy Haz etc etc seemed to be missing first half and off the pace didn’t notice him improving in the second half as some on here seemed to see - did he really do that ?
First home game I've got to in a while. I noticed our subs didn't warm up on the pitch at half time which I've never seen before at any football game. Is this a normal thing since Sergej took over or just for this game? I think it makes sense for players to go in and hear instructions etc as they can just warm up along the side of the pitch while the game is playing.
They weren’t on the pitch at cov away either. Seen plenty of times randomly over the years but not very often.
I wasn't able to watch 2 games and we won both. Not watching any game this year. And btw, just after highlights, having a decent striker pulls a miracle in this league. 6 games, 3 goals, 4 assists. No wonder Mitrovic is such a legend.
Just watched mastermind again thanks to the link to channel, I just noticed we both started supporting team at same time, first EPL season. But looks like you went well far ahead of me, I kind of lost my interest when we relegated from EPL.
It was a total embarrassment. 'In front of you is the MKM south staand! On your left is MKM east staaaaand!'. Oh right. That might be intimidating at Galatasaray, Dortmund or even Anfield, here it just screams small-time. Stop it.
Nah it's good, get everyone off there feet and involved whilst the crowd is at peak excitement's The atmosphere has been great so far, their are a number of reason, this may be a small contributor to noise but it is
I agree, never understood why it made people cringe. It's literally a free excuse for each stand to cheer, something not every stand does all game. When I was younger I never used to be that vocal until I'd shouted once, then it sort of broke the ice and I would be on it all game. Might just be a me thing with having low confidence as a young lad but, thinking about it, it actually helped.
