    Two small observations:

When the ball dropped for Xhaka to head on to Isidor, it was telling that no Villa player went to challenge and they just stood off. A mixture of the aura/respect he has and Villa not being as up for the fight.

Mukiele's flick and Alderete's header were sublime. Almost deserved a goal, they were that good.

Noticed that mate when Ballard came on,every corner or long throw, the panic and chaos in their defence was laughable

He's used to the meds now and stopped acting like he's drunk! He's not had anymore seizures and he seems back to normal now. Fingers crossed the meds keep him this way. Thanks for asking xx

Agree with all of that. All good signs.

We'll get beat plenty but we won't get bullied. Real text book way to play with ten men in the second half. Takes a huge effort that .

Watched our game and one thing has struck me is how calm RLB seems to be on the touchline. No theatrics from him, compared to Emery and also both managers in the arse v city game - arms flailing arl ower the shop.

That was ****ing brilliant that moment!! Said to the lad next to me “he wanted nothing to di with that!!!”

Their number 27. If I was Emery, he’d be training with the kids today!! There was a tackle second half where the ball bounced off him and rolled gently towards the goal line near the corner flag. I’m 50, and I would’ve caught it. He just walked slowly away! Wanted nothing to do with it! Got the hook shortly after too.

Seems we have that ability to get at teams. And to get under their skin! Ling may it continue

Morgan Rogers. Very good player but he was poor yesterday. Their fans seemed to sarcastically cheer when he was hooked.

He’d be training with the kids for me. Doesn’t matter how good you are, you don’t give up a ball rolling at walking pace towards the line when you obviously can catch it! There is no excuse! I’d have gone off it if any of ours did that. But they don’t! Everyone gives 100% stoyart to end which is amazing to see

Sunderland fans have always said as long as they are knackered when they come off that’s all that matters anyone can get beat by a better team, no shame in that.

Cracking point yesterday, would have taken 1 at the start of the game as they are a tough team to beat - as soon as we went down to 10 then a point was a great result

The performance, more than the point, is what impressed me. We were probably the better side for 60-70 minutes, and we were still positive when we went down to 10 men.

Mukiele was just different class for us, what a player - Sheff Utd paid more for Tanganga than we paid for Mukiele!!!

Reinaldo potentially cost us 3 games, and he will likely have a fight on his hands to get back into the team

4 points from the next 3 would be unreal and put us in a great position to kick on
