    Take your point but Brobbey is a very different player to the other two, he absolutely hasn't earned a start (yet) but maybe he's the right type of forward tactically.

    At the moment we've no idea how good we are but at least Villa won’t know either. Persuading Xhaka to come was an absolute master stroke from KLD and something few clubs, in our position, could’ve pulled off. With him in midfield at least you know the other players won’t slack off or fail to play to their max.

    I’m just about to leave the house to drive to Edinburgh and meet up with @Hettonista …

    Finally shaken off a heavy and annoying cold that’s lasted 3 weeks just in time for the match.

    Been out with the dog and it’s a bit ****ing chilly, really looking forward to the game.

    Big test, they’ve a few missing but it’s the PL so doesn’t really matter.

    I want Enzo to play we are more creative with him. Rumours Diarra has a knock so I’d like to see

    We haven’t really seen this as a 3 and I think it could be pretty special and self complimentary.

    Mayenda on the right please and let’s have Brobbey start. See how he goes we’ve then the option of Wilson off bench to replace either LM of Brobbey depending how games go.

    Delighted big Dan fit but we can’t touch that back 5 he will have to win that shirt back, which is brilliant.

    I’ll repeat again, the summer recruitment is so good, we will have bench players who would have been our best player last season. Superb.

    Sticking with 2-1 but amending scorer predictions to Brobbey and Wilson.
