Finally got home, Still fuming. The only good part of the day was managing to catch an earlier train home from Waterloo so wasn't hanging around there for half an hour. Anyway, I see Libby is still raging as well so not just me!
Meh, it's only football ultimately but that performance was utterly horrific and I'd say as bad as almost anything we served up last season. Inept is probably the word which sums it up best. Definitely had better away days but that's following Saints for you! We live to fight another day.
So where to even begin with that... - THB was horrendous, what on earth has happened to his passing as it was probably his best attribute previously? Would like Wood to come in. - Our biggest issue today (and I've pointed this out in other games this season also) is that we lost basically every second ball in all areas of the pitch. ****ing basics lads FFS. - I feel like something may have happened with Robinson, perhaps a falling out with Still or something? Bizarre that he's gone from one of our best attackers to barely playing in a matter of weeks. - On some of the newbies Scienza looks weak as piss and worried that doesn't help us given we're soft as **** generally. Azaz is a weird one as on paper he's the type of player we were crying out for but doesn't seem to suit how we're playing at all, lacks a yard of pace too imo. Fellows was decent I thought. - I can't believe how much we stood off the player who crossed it for their first goal. Proper amateur stuff. - We should probably try harder to get it wide and get crosses into the box.
I’m not sure a Rotten Tomato review would ever use that line. Notice I’ve not asked her age as a gentleman never asks a ladies age. What the heck how old is she?
Main highlight of the day was meeting up with Lincs and even spending most of the game stood with him and his nipper. Top top bloke and it made the game more enjoyable than it should have been. Though equally he's also a bit of a prick - about 5 minutes before their 3rd I said I was probably going to **** off if they scored again to which he replied he was gonna stay to give them all dogs abuse at the end. Good idea I thought so I decided to do the same, it really didn't make me feel better and I wished I'd just left early and got on the road Will read through the rest of the fred in the morning. Can't wait to see if there's any positive spins on that ****show.
See, I would have left early had I driven. But there wasn’t much point as the only train back to London was at 6.30 so I just sat down, waited until the end, and gave them a ton of stick.
You must have watched a different match to me then What about your player who squealed like he had been run over by a JCB, with absolutely zero contact taking place……have a word
Yeah I'm surprised to see any Bazunu blame for their first. For me the problem was giving their player all the time in the world to put the cross in.
Thought THB was far worse than Jack yesterday. Never been a Stephens fan but he's been nowhere near one of the worst performers this season.
THB will be the answer to a quiz question one day. Who scored on their England debut and then never got another cap.
Armstrong took his goal really well yesterday. Probably the main positive from the match yesterday (Fellows the only other one?). We all know he can score goals at this level and is a massive confidence player so hopefully he can go on a bit of a run now.
