For those who didn't attend that place was straight out of Phoenix nights. Rough and ready Northern venue. Highlight of the day that it was just over £9 a round.

 

I got soaked walking to the stadium, got absolutely drenched coming back because some **** drove through a puddle at about 50mph and had to witness a performance that was somehow wetter than the weather. Oh and the train back down south doesn't leave until 18:35 so I'm still stuck in Hull . **** Will Still when he says we controlled the game. Still fuming.

 

Cannot blame anybody but the CBs. All three goals were balls in that they failed to compete for.

 

Having looked at the first goal again, the camera angle from behind the goal shows the ball was a good way left of Baz, so my earlier criticism was unjustified. The angle on my stream made it look like the ball was in front of him. Stephens seemed blissfully unaware of Joseph.

 

For everyone that didn't go, that was ****ing appalling. I don't care if you think you saw any sort of "green shoots" on TV, but trust me, being pissed wet through and watching that bullshit in real life, you'd have soon changed your mind. That was ****ing gopping.

Stephens was beaten to the blocked header

 

THB looks a shadow of the player he was in our last season in the Champ. Absolutely horrendous today. Competent (not even looking for outstanding) defending today and we might have scraped a drab draw rather than an abysmal defeat. And we all know Stephens has an off day every few games. Not convinced on THB and Stephens as a CB partnership even before today tbh.
Unfortunately poor defending isn’t our only problem…

 

Yep totally agree. Was trying my hardest to find a reason for why they were so bad today, because in fairness to them both, they're not that bad. That said I'd be dropping one of them (probably THB) for Edwards.

 

Edwards isn’t great in the air either.
