It's the start of a new era after seven long months of darkness I can finally see the light and I hope it doesn't fade away, and we start by welcoming the Cobblers to Adams Park. Our visitors are five points better off than ourselves having won three and drawn one of their seven games and our new manager needs to start his reign with a win which he achieved on his last visit to AP back in January. Michael Duff has plenty of experience in the EFL and lets hope he gets the best out of the extremely good players he has inherited. I will be at AP along with Slasher and we will be looking forward to seeing the ball being played quickly forward and our forwards getting goals goals goals
Let's hope his name is a misnomer From his initail interview I get the impression he likes attacking football. Hopefully the lads haven't forgotten what that means
Like it said in his interview we did draw 5-5 at Adams Park when he was manager of Cheltenham but then again he did have Alfie May as a striker
It looks like he will play 2 strikers up front unlike Dodds who only played 1 and we saw how that turned out. Who the hell is going to employ Dodds now?
I think the Sunderland fans rated him as an assistant/youth coach but not cut out to be the main man. Some of them would be keen to have him back in a more junior role. He was thinking about the Wycombe job but I think we have our academy sorted
I don't think that would work sacking your manager then putting him charge of the academy, no matter how good he is
I have decided as we have a new manager I will stay home & listen to the commentary, rather than go & watch my local team in the FA VASE. am I going to regret this.
