    We were having a peri peri king kebab from Aldi with a load of nibbles.

    Those frozen king kebabs from Aldi are ace for a cheap and effortless throw in the oven dinner by the way, 100% recommend.

    That's lunch sorted. Home made scotch eggs with eggs from our hens, Cumberland and streaky bacon sausagemeat and panko and salt and vinegar crisp coating

    Breadcrumbs is where it all falls down. **** knows what a bakery is using but I have tried loads of shop bought ones and about 10 methods off Google and they’ve always been ****e!

    Honestly, can’t get my head around what makes simple breadcrumbs so difficult to get right, but they make it brake the whole scotch eggs!

    Tried them. Bought them and made them myself. Can’t remember how they turned out tbh I’ve tried that many different things but never managed to get that perfect soft texture. Usually just turn out dry, powdery, tough and disappointing once cooked. Honestly I swear nobody making a proper scotch egg is actually using breadcrumbs but some kind of magic produced alternative instead <laugh>

    That’s food all prepped. Smoked ribs in a BBQ & black garlic glaze. Slow cook for 7 hours. Lazy sofa & tv sports while it cooks

    Last night I made home made chicken Kiev’s and chicken nuggets. Crushed a load of garlic bread bruschetta for the bread crumbs. It all worked amazingly well except I seriously underestimated how much garlic butter to put in.

    And that’s tonight’s dinner all prepped. Pork shoulder rubbed in honey, white wine vinegar (thought I had apple but nah), garlic oil, a small amount of bbq sauce and smoked paprika with diced garlic, Birds Eye chilli’s and dog ****. Now into the PA for 8-10 hours.

    That’s food all prepped…spatchcock chicken, in a lemon juice, pepper & black garlic glaze. Kids want a full on roast dinner with it, I will have it with a salad Time for a few beers & watch the footy
